About nomad

nomad is building the next-generation wearable. All other wearables on the market read your body, they hand you your data, and assume this information is in itself the intervention. We are building something different. The first wearable that reads your body and then does something about it.

The role

You will own nomad’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn end to end: strategy, calendar, scripting, shooting, editing, posting, community, and analytics. Increasingly, you’ll own how nomad shows up beyond the feed too: press, events, and community on the ground.

This is a founding hire; you report directly to the CEO and will work with him daily. This is a close, high-trust partnership. The rest of the team is there to support you: the science team will get you the substance, the engineering team will get you the device, and everyone is available for filming and interviews.

You’ll have direct access to the founders, the lab, the device, and the research as it happens. We will give you guidance and ideas about what we like, and the rest is up to you.

What you’ll actually do

  • Build and run the content engine across all four platforms, with distinct native strategies for each (short-form vertical video for TikTok/Reels/Shorts, longer-form content on LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Turn advanced science into shareable mainstream content.
  • Shoot and edit in-house. Lab footage, build logs, conference days, device teardowns, founder explainers and whatever else takes your fancy.
  • Reply, DM, host, show up in the comments.
  • Run a testing loop (hooks, formats, thumbnails, posting cadence) and report on what is working with actual numbers.
  • Coordinate with our PR agency and support national press activity.
  • Take nomad offline as well as online: set up and grow, for example, nomad run clubs, and build the community in person as well as in the feed. Or any other events you can think of.
  • Get out and meet people who matter to nomad; doctors, researchers, coaches, athletes, and find ways to turn those relationships into partnerships.
  • Support launch moments: product reveals, funding news, publications, conferences.

Additional information

We’re a small company, and the job is as wide as you want to make it. Realistically, this role includes:

  • Conferences with us: international scientific and industry conferences, in the room and on the stand.
  • A real hand in product development: we’re building both a consumer device and a medical device, and you’ll be part of those conversations. Your instincts about how something reads, feels and is understood are useful input.
  • Design language: brand, visual identity, tone, and how the product presents itself.
  • Whatever else takes your fancy. People who want a lane will be bored. People who want to get involved in everything will be very happy.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Track record growing an account from a standing start: send us the numbers and the posts.
  • You can shoot and edit yourself. CapCut, Premiere, whatever; the output is what matters.
  • Native fluency in TikTok and Instagram, plus the ability to switch register entirely for LinkedIn.
  • Strong writing. Hooks, captions, longer-form posts.
  • Comfortable with technical subject matter, and willing to learn from the founders.

Nice to have

  • Health, science, fitness or hardware content experience.
  • On-camera presence.
  • Motion graphics and data visualisation.
  • Paid social, or experience building a creator/KOL programme.
  • Experience running events, run clubs or in-person communities.
  • Having worked alongside a PR agency or handled press directly.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience.
  • Bonuses tied to milestones: agreed with you in your first month and reviewed regularly, covering audience growth, reach, earned media and inbound interest.
  • Also: budget for kit and equipment of your choosing, international conference travel, and a team that will actually give you things worth filming.

How to apply

Send to hello@nomadneuro.com:

  1. Links to three things you’ve made that performed, with the numbers.
  2. We are building a wearable that doesn’t just measure, but also acts. It reads your body and sends targeted electrical pulses into the nerve that controls some of your core functions, including heart rate, sleep and blood pressure. We are calling it the next-generation wearable. The first wearable to act. Write one paragraph on how you’d introduce a next-generation wearable to someone on TikTok who has never heard of it.
  3. Your CV or profile.
