Legal
Terms
Last updated 15 July 2026
The short version: this is an informational website about nomad, a consumer wellness device in development. Nothing is for sale here, nothing here is medical advice, and browsing the site commits you to nothing. The full terms below are the legally binding version.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Nomad Neuroscience Ltd (“nomad”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16558472, with its registered office at 10 Stevens Lane, Claygate, Esher, England, KT10 0TE. Our VAT number is 517 4352 96. You can reach us at hello@nomadneuro.com.
These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site you agree to them; if you do not agree, please don’t use the site. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell you anything. If we launch sales of a nomad device or subscription in future, that purchase will be governed by separate sale terms presented at the time.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle your information and form part of these terms.
2. A product in development
- nomad is in active development. Product images and renders, specifications, features, app functionality (including Loop Score), pricing, availability, regions served, and timelines shown on this site are indicative and may change before launch.
- Statements about future products, features, timelines, and research are forward-looking and are not promises or warranties.
3. Not a medical device: important health notice
nomad is a consumer wellness product. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the UK MHRA, the US Food and Drug Administration, or any other regulatory authority, and no statement on this site has been evaluated by the FDA.
Nothing on this site, including descriptions of research, references to clinical or academic partners, Loop Score, or wellbeing outcomes, is medical advice, and none of it replaces the advice of a qualified health professional. Do not use this site or nomad to make decisions about diagnosis or treatment, and never delay or stop medical care because of something you read here. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, use an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, or have any health concerns, talk to your doctor before using a product like nomad.
4. Using this site
- You may use the site only for lawful purposes. Don’t attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, probe or scan it for vulnerabilities without permission, scrape it at scale, introduce malware, or interfere with its operation.
- We may suspend, restrict, change, or withdraw the site at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The site and everything on it, including the nomad name, wordmark, logos, product designs, images, text, and software, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from it, or use our trade marks, without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.
If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them freely, without payment or attribution, though you keep ownership of your idea and we’ll never claim you endorsed us without asking.
6. Third-party services and links
The site may link to third-party websites and services, including academic or research partners. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement, and references to our clinical and academic collaborators do not mean those institutions endorse or have approved nomad.
7. Our responsibility to you
What we never exclude: nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and because this site is provided free of charge:
- The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement in relation to the site and its content. We don’t promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage we cause by breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or losses connected to business, trade, or resale, since this site is intended for consumers.
- Some jurisdictions, including certain US states, do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that applies to you, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted by the law of your jurisdiction, and you may have additional rights.
8. If there’s a problem
Talk to us first: email hello@nomadneuro.com with a description of the issue and how you’d like it resolved, and a human will respond. We ask that we each try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally for 60 days before starting formal proceedings. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights or your right to bring proceedings.
9. Governing law and where you can bring claims
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also rely on the laws of, and bring proceedings in, Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively. If you live in the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. For everyone else, claims may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, though if the law of the country you live in guarantees you the right to bring a consumer claim in your local courts, nothing here takes that away.
California users: under California Civil Code §1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
10. Other important terms
- Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in what the site does. The date at the top shows the current version.
- Events outside our control. We aren’t liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, or outages of third-party services).
- Transferring this agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation (for example in a reorganisation or sale of our business).
- If part of these terms is invalid. Each section operates separately. If any part is found unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- Waiver. If we delay in enforcing any part of these terms, we can still enforce it later.
- Third parties. These terms are between you and us. No one else has rights under them, including under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
